About
A clinic that will talk you out of things.
MMC Wellness has run medical aesthetics clinics in Greater Vancouver since 2011. This is the North Shore one, and it opens on 11 September 2026.

Why this address
We took space inside a plastic surgery clinic on purpose. Most aesthetic clinics can only offer you what they own — a laser, a needle, a machine on a payment plan. The awkward questions come up anyway: is this going to do anything for me, is this the wrong tool, would surgery actually be less than what I am about to spend over three years? Being in the same building as three plastic surgeons is the cheapest possible way to answer those honestly.
We are not the surgeons
North Shore Plastic Surgery is a separate company. We coordinate consultations for self-pay cosmetic surgery; we do not perform surgery and we do not bill for theirs.
We do not do insured work
No MSP billing, no reconstructive surgery, no hand and wrist. That is the other practice at this address, and it is not a service we can sell you.
Chinese is a first language here
Roughly half of MMC's patients across Greater Vancouver have their consultations in Mandarin or Cantonese. Nothing about that is an accommodation; it is how the clinic runs.
How a first visit actually goes
Nobody is measured for anything on the first visit. You describe what bothers you, someone looks at it, and you get told what the realistic options are — including the option of doing nothing, which is a real answer and not a polite one. If a treatment is unlikely to get you where you want, we would rather say so than sell you three sessions of it.
You get a number before you commit
Non-surgical prices are published on the treatment pages. Surgical quotes are written, itemised, and given after an examination — never a range quoted over the phone.
Aftercare is here, not somewhere else
Post-operative skin work, scar management and the follow-up call happen in this building, with the people who know what was done.
Nothing is sold at the door
You are quoted for what you came about. Nobody adds a bundle at the counter, and medical services here are priced the same on your first visit as your fifth.
What we are and are not
Written out plainly, because a co-located partnership is exactly the arrangement people misread.
- A separate company
- MMC Wellness North Shore and North Shore Plastic Surgery share an address and refer to each other. We are not partners in a legal sense, not a merged practice, and not one billing entity.
- Self-pay only
- Every service we offer is paid by the patient. If you are looking for something MSP covers, we are the wrong clinic and will tell you so on the phone.
- Regulated advertising
- Clinic advertising in BC is regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons. Among other things it rules out quoting patients about their results, promising an outcome, and ranking yourself against other physicians. You will not find any of that here — and it is worth noticing where you do.
- Results vary
- Everything on this site describes what a treatment is intended to do. What it will do for you depends on your skin, your anatomy and your history, which is what the consultation is for.
