Charles Jiang

Dr. Charles Jiang is a physician and the founder of MMC Wellness Group, Richmond Anti-Aging Clinic, and the Chinese Canadian Medical Hotline. He has been a clinical instructor for M.D. students at UBC Medical School since 2016, and received a "Doctor Making a Difference" award from Doctors of BC in 2018. He has led humanitarian medical work abroad — heading a Canadian medical team during the 2008 Sichuan earthquake, and starting outreach programs for rural medical communities in China in 2018. He is a certified medical software engineer, works on clinical applications of medical AI, and trains clinicians on EMR systems in BC.

Cathy Chen

Cathy Chen is a pharmacist and medical consultant at MMC Wellness. Her work covers health consultations, lab-result review and medication assessment, and she builds treatment plans alongside the clinical team. She is a registered member of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia and a member of the BC Pharmacy Association, with certifications in administration of injections, first aid, and specialty injection training. She spent 15 years as a community pharmacist before joining the clinic. During the COVID-19 pandemic she worked with First Nations nurse practitioners and with the Chinese Canadian Medical Hotline, connecting pharmacies, coordinating deliveries and providing health information to Chinese-speaking communities. She left her family in China at a young age to study in the US and Canada, and is a mother of two.
